We are looking for an Cargo Agent to join the Aviation Handling Services - Queen Alia International Airport possess the following qualifications:

Responsibilities:

•  · Coordinate and oversee the shipment of cargo from origin to destination, ensuring compliance with shipping procedures, documentation requirements, and customs regulations.
• · Utilize transportation management systems and tracking software to monitor and track the movement of cargo.
• · Prepare and verify shipping documents, including bills of lading, customs forms, and export/import documentation, with a high level of accuracy.
• · Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and other stakeholders to arrange and schedule shipments, resolve issues, and provide updates on shipment status.
• · Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient cargo handling, loading, and unloading.
• · Conduct regular inspections of cargo to ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
• ·  Handle any issues or delays in transportation, customs clearance, or delivery promptly and effectively.
• · Maintain accurate records and documentation of all cargo-related activities and transactions.
• · Stay up to date with the latest shipping regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
• ·  Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.

Requirements:

• · Previous experience as a cargo agent or in a similar role is preferred.
• · Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation, and customs regulations.
• · Familiarity with transportation management systems and tracking software.
• · Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• · Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cargo and preparing documentation.
• · Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various stakeholders.
• ·  Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• ·  Flexibility to work on a shift basis.
• ·  BA degree in any field degree but in the IT section is preferred.
