We are seeking a IT officer to join our company.
Responsibilities:
1- System Administration:
– Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks.
– Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
– Ensure data backup and recovery procedures are in place.
2- Network Management:
– Manage and maintain the organization’s network infrastructure.
– Set up and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
– Monitor network performance and address connectivity issues.
3- Technical Support:
– Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
– Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
– Train users on proper computer usage and basic troubleshooting.
4- Security:
– Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization’s IT assets.
– Install and update antivirus software, firewalls, and security patches.
– Conduct regular security audits and respond to security incidents.
5- Software and Hardware Management:
– Install, upgrade, and configure software applications.
– Manage hardware inventory and procurement.
– Collaborate with vendors for hardware and software solutions.
6- Documentation:
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, – configurations, and procedures.
– Develop and update IT policies and procedures.
7- Collaboration:
– Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs.
– Collaborate with IT team members on projects and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
Relevant experience in IT support, system administration, or a related role 3+ years.
Skills:
– Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and IT security.
– Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
– Familiarity with server and desktop operating systems.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-Solving Skills:
– Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.
